This Loom Automation describes a new economical solution for controlling power loom using switches and sensors. The control system composed of PE sensor, Proximity sensor, switches and a PIC16F886 microcontroller. This system continuously monitor the warp and weft thread breakage and thereby indicating with assigned led. This project mainly assists at enhancing the quality of the fabric by monitoring threads and timely triggering the relay to stop the power loom motor.
